Thank you to all those who came to see me at the North Yorkshire Open Studios. I hadn’t taken part for ten years, so it was great to see new faces and to meet visitors I hadn’t seen for at least that long. And yes, it was simply brilliant that some found an artwork to add to their collection.

During those weekends, I painted a little watercolour of my high street. It features Wold Pottery, which hosted my open studio, and the controversial large aluminium pipe which had recently appeared on the front of “pizza cottage” (This was removed today). The painting is now exhibited in Wold Pottery, along with a selection of my local artwork.
